AHS Stout Silver Medal winner in 1980 for daylily of the year. Has also won the Donn Fisher Memorial Award for outstanding miniature cultivar in 1973. Cute persimmon blooms are held en-mass over this small daylily. Front of border burst of orange color. Awards were well-deserved.  Dormant for northern gardeners.
